Getting started

1. Open The Organizer and press Scan.
2. Choose the folder you want tidied. Nothing moves yet.
3. Review the plan: every file, its proposed category, and how confident the app is.
4. Press Organize. Files are copied by default — the originals stay exactly where they are until you switch to Move.
5. Changed your mind? Undo puts everything back.

Frequently asked questions

Does it upload my files anywhere?

No. There is no networking in the app's file-organizing path — no cloud, no account, no analytics. Turn off Wi-Fi and everything still works identically. See the Privacy Policy.

Will it delete anything?

No. The app never deletes your files. Duplicate copies are set aside in a Duplicates folder for you to review and remove yourself if you want to. Every organize can be undone.

It filed something in the wrong place.

Right-click (or long-press) the row and choose the correct category. The app learns from that correction and stops repeating it. For a permanent rule, Settings → Rules lets you write one that always wins over the built-in classifier.

What does “confidence” mean on each row?

How sure the app is. High-confidence rows are deterministic facts (an invoice number, a recognised form). Anything it is unsure about is marked for your review rather than silently guessed.

Copy or Move?

Copy (the default) leaves your originals untouched and duplicates them into the organized structure. Move relocates them. Both are undoable. Change it in Settings → General.

What is Observer Mode?

A passive pass: the app proposes where files belong and moves nothing, so you can look before committing.

What is Autopilot?

Optional. Pick a watch folder and new files arriving there are filed automatically, using the same rules and with the same Undo.

What does the app remember, and how do I erase it?

Settings → Memory shows how many files it knows and how many corrections you have taught it. Forget Everything erases every learned fact and correction on this device, immediately. Your files on disk are untouched. Deleting the app removes everything including settings.

Why did it ask for Speech Recognition?

Only if the folder you scanned contains audio or video, so it can transcribe spoken words on your device and file the media by what is actually said. Decline it and everything else works normally.

Does it work in Arabic?

Yes — the app ships in 41 languages, reads Arabic document content, and lays out right-to-left properly. Change it in Settings → General.

One purchase for iPhone, iPad and Mac?

Yes. It is a universal purchase: buy once, use on all your devices.

It stopped responding or crashed.

Please email tooh@live.com with what you were doing at the time. On a Mac you can attach the report from Console → Crash Reports; on iPhone or iPad from Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data. These reports contain no file contents.

Known limitations

• Very large scans take time proportional to the number of files; the first pass reads everything, later passes reuse what was learned and are far faster.
• Transcription requires Apple's on-device speech model for your language to be installed. If it is not, the app files audio without a transcript rather than sending anything to a server.
• Retention guidance is informational, not legal or tax advice.
